Our Mission

Our mission is to restore healing and function for all members of the family through the expression of a healthy nervous system!

Who we see

In our office, our passion is to care for all members of the family! Each age, stage, and generation has its own specific needs and physiological differences which we are equipped to treat!

We are proud to care for a large diversity of patients from several different backgrounds! No matter your age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, orientation; this is a space for your healing and care! Doctors Liz and Lindsay show gentle and compassionate care for people in all walks of life!

Beyond general chiropractic education, Dr. Liz and Dr. Lindsay have specialized in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care, in which they have received continued education and techniques to address the specific demands and challenges pregnancy, birth, and nursing can have on both babies and mamas! As providers, they strive to be the most skilled and knowledgeable they can be in these areas to provide our mamas and babies with the highest quality of care for each of their individual needs.

our foundation

Dr. Liz and Dr. Lindsay both graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2016, in which they committed to their vision of building their own women-owned, community-based practice together, in which all members of the community, young and old, would receive the highest quality of chiropractic care.

In 2016, The Drs. Liz & Lindsay: Family Chiropractors was established. The office started in a small studio in Otay Mesa, San Diego where Dr.. Liz and Dr. Lindsay built their relationships within the community and grew their practice doing what they loved- caring for mamas, babies, and families!

In 2020, the opportunity arose to move to Imperial Beach, and they knew it was the perfect step to take! The practice was moved in to its long-term home in Imperial Beach, where we serve the South Bay of San Diego as prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric chiropractors!

Our practice embraces an environment of family wellness, comfort, and support. We have intentionally created a space where all our patients can feel like they are at home and in a habitat for healing and renewal when they come to us!

what is a “cash Practice”?

Our office is run as a “Cash Practice”, but what exactly does that mean?

Cash Practice means that we do not bill out to insurance on behalf of our patients. All of our patients are self-paying; we accept all forms of payment including Credit, Debit, Cash, Check, or Venmo!

Several individuals have an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flex Savings Account) account set up through their employer, these accounts are compatible with our office, and we accept all HSA/FSA cards. If this will be your first time using your HSA/FSA account, we encourage you to call your provider and confirm details such as:

  • Is there a spending limit on my card?

  • Do I need to provide a specific receipt after receiving treatment?

  • Am I allowed to pay ahead for treatment?

  • Can my card be used for treatment as well as office products such as supplements, pillows, and oils?

While we don’t bill out to insurance, we can provide our patients with a detailed receipt including date of service, service provided, amount paid, form of payment, and invoice number; some patients are able to submit this receipt to their insurance with a claim for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee whether your specific insurance policy will accept this claim or not, nor are we responsible for any claims or reimbursements. Please take note, WE DO NOT PROVIDE DIAGNOSIS CODES on our detailed receipts.

Detailed receipt example:

Why do we choose to be a Cash Practice?

While providing treatment in network with insurance is helpful and convenient in the short-term, we as doctors face several challenges when our care given depends on insurance policies.

Insurance restricts our care into specific boundaries, which are not in favor of the patient’s long-term health and wellness. Treatment is no longer personalized, flexible, or patient-oriented, as it becomes dependant solely on the insurance policy allowances.

Because we are a cash practice, we are able to provide personalized care geared toward each individual, offer care plans built for true wellness and restoration, and charge lower rates in comparison to a practice in network.
